❣️why I like MBTI

It's helped me understand myself a lot better! I now have a name/explanation for some of my core personality traits. I've been able to do more self reflection and understand what I'm like when I'm healthy vs unhealthy. I’ve been able to identify my natural cognitive tendencies and areas that I can actively work on. I’m able to embrace my natural cognitive tendencies as strengths and not try to be someone that I’m not.

It's also a way for me to learn more about other people! I definitely feel like I understand where other people are coming from a lot better now.

❔ how did I first get into MBTI?

Brian Yao sent the following video in the #avalon channel in the SAAS slack back in April 2021 saying "we all turn into INTPs or INTJs during Avalon" and I thought it was really funny, so I started watching more videos from dear kristen's channel. And the rest was history.

📖 about MBTI

🧠 cognitive functions

I didn’t like any online descriptions, so I wrote my own: cognitive functions

This is a really good video:

Cognitive functions explain how you take in and process information from the environment.

There are 8 cognitive functions in total.

Each type has a function stack of 4 functions! Your top function is your dominant function — this is the one you use most often and comes most naturally to you.

🔍 how do I type myself?
